Revenge

“This will be fun.” Jessie told Gabi with an assuring smile.
“Whatever.” Gabi replied as she turned around and went into the country house. Jessie and Gabi’s parents
were going on a business trip and they left Jessie in charge of her 7 year old sister Gabi for 2 days. Jessie
thought this would be easy, basically all she had to do was feed Gabi. As Jessie started to make her way back into the house she heard sticks snapping on the floor behind her she turned around but no one was there. Then Jessie had the strange feeling someone was following her but she just disregarded it and went into the house. Jessie found Gabi sitting on the couch in the family room watching television.
“Look mom and dad are on the news!” Gabi shouted as she pointed to the television screen.
“Oh yeah dad is on the news for getting that murderer put in jail” Jessie explained. Gabi and Jessie’s dad is an attorney which can make him very unpopular so that’s why Gabi and Jessie were at the country house away from the city. Here there were no neighbors for 5 miles. It was getting late so Jessie put Gabi in bed and she laid on the couch watching television. Jessie decided to call her parents to say goodnight. She picked up the phone and dialed the number Jessie waited for it to ring but it didn’t she bent down to see if it was unplugged but the phone cord had been cut. Jessie started to get worried, who would cut that?
“No Problem” Jessie whispered as she took out her cell phone only to find that she had no service in the area. Then the television through a fit with static and noise roaring through the speakers. Maybe it’s just a really bad area for television Jessie thought. However none of those thoughts could slow down her racing heart. Jessie turned the television off and started to climb upstairs. She was halfway up the stairs when the lights started to flicker on off on off.
“Gabi stop it right now!” Jessie shouted hoping Gabi was playing a joke on her. “It’s not funny!” Jessie screamed. Then the lights turned off completely. The darkness was a black blanket covering the house. Jessie moved her hand along the wall trying to find the light switch. When she finally found the light switch Jessie screamed and took my hand away from the wall because when she touched the light switch she had felt another hand on top of hers. Jessie ran up the stairs so fast she could feel her heart beating through her chest. Jessie dashed to Gabi’s bedroom where her bed was empty she picked up the blankets to find blood every where. Jessie turned white as a ghost.
“This can’t be happening!” Jessie screamed as she ran into the parent’s bedroom. Jessie sat on my bed wondering what to do. Jessie grabbed a flashlight from the cabinet and started searching for her sister. She noticed a bloody handprint on the wall and was horrified.
“I hope she’s okay” Jessie whispered as tears rolled down her cheeks. The flashlight fell to the floor and Jessie bent over to pick it up but someone had grabbed it before her and shined it in her face so I couldn’t see who they were.
“Jessie if you want your sister to stay alive you need to listen to me do you understand?” a deep voice asked.
“Yes” Jessie said her voice trembling with fear. “Where is she?” she asked in a quiet voice.
“She’s in the attic but, don’t worry you’ll be joining her very soon” Answered the deep voice. He shut the flashlight off and led Jessie up the attic stairs in complete darkness. She was soon reunited with my sister. The sisters hugged each other tight. The guy with the deep voice turned the attic light on but Jessie and Gabi still couldn’t see his face because he had a black ski mask with eye wholes cut out on his face. However Jessie could see Gabi her cute as a button face had a few cuts and bruises but she didn’t look very hurt and Jessie was grateful for that.
“Who are you and why are you doing this?” Jessie shouted at him. He took a big shiny knife out of his pocket and he made a big cut in Jessie’s leg. Jessie screamed with pain even though the only ones that could hear her were Gabi and the guy with the deep voice.
“I make the rules around here and you don’t question me do you understand?” The guy with the deep voice explained. Gabi and Jessie nodded too scared to talk. “I’ll make you suffer just the way your father is making my parents” He stated as he put his knife back into his pocket. Jessie thought about this for a second and then it all came to her it was Greg. Greg went to the same school as Jessie but he was a few years older his parents were the people Gabi dad put in jail for murder.
“Greg?” Jessie questioned.
“Yeah, that’s right it’s me,” he said as he took off his mask.
“Were not the ones that did this to your parents it was my dad so why are you torturing us?” Jessie said as she put pressure on her still bleeding leg.
“Number one I couldn’t get near your parents they have so much security and if I hurt or kill both of you I am hurting your father and that’ll be good enough for me.” He said with a wide grin on his face. He’s going to kill me Jessie thought, it’s over she started to sob. When all of the sudden Gabi started to kick him despite the fact her hands were tied tightly with rope behind her. Jessie realized what she was doing she was creating a distraction. She sprang up and reached into Greg’s pocket and got the huge shiny knife.
“Freeze” Jessie said as he was about to grab Gabi. Jessie walked right up to Greg and pointed the knife at his face he kept walking backwards away from the knife. All of the sudden Jessie and Greg tumbled together tripping tragically over a wire and crashed into the huge window over looking the backyard.
“Oh my Gosh help!” Gabi screamed as we tumbled out the window. Jessie only had one thought as she was falling out the window, kill him. As Greg and Jessie fell to the ground Greg bashed his head on a sprinkler and as far as she could tell he was dead. Luckily for Jessie she had landed on the trampoline. Still weak from the fall she couldn’t get up she could barely talk. In a few minutes Gabi was by Jessie’s side.
“Get help” she told her.
“But who should I tell we have no neighbors.” She explained with a worried look.
“The nearest house is 5 miles away take the bike and hurry” Jessie told her and she was about to shut her eyes when she heard Gabi scream. Jessie looked down to find Greg’s hand wrapped around Gabi’s ankle. “He’s not dead?” Jessie shouted in amazement. She hopped up adrenaline running through her veins as she stepped real hard on Greg’s wrist.
“Ouch!” Greg screamed loudly.
“Run, Gabi, Run!” Jessie instructed. Jessie didn’t get off his wrist until the police came. Gabi and Jessie explained everything to the police and called the parents. The parents came home right away and Jessie and Gabi didn’t feel safe until Jessie and Gabi were far away from the country in the house with neighbors on each side of them and Greg was in jail.

ABG,
I like your story because it's very mysterious and you din't know what is going to happen to Jessie's sister. I also like it because it has a LOT of dialog and it helps the reader get more into the story.

This was such an interesting story. My heart was actually racing when the lights were flickering on and off. And the part where greg bashes his head on the sprinkler...but surprisingly is still alive and grabs the sisters leg..it was so creepy but described really well!

I liked your story because you didnt know what was about to happen next and it supprised me when Jessie felt a hand on top of hers on the light switch and when you found out who the guy who snuck in was.

Your dialouge was very well written but I thought it was maybe a little too fast paced? Oh well, it was good.
