"The Spring Break Nightmare"
Jason, Danny, Nicole, and Mary drove to Las Vegas from Arizona State University. They are looking forward to loosening up and having a great time in the Sin City. The kids drove past the newer portion of the strip and then towards the older section. The kids are enthralled to see the sights of the new section of Vegas. Jason, Danny, Nicole, and Mary take in the sights of resorts such as The MGM Grand, New York-New York, Excalibur, Paris and the famous fountains of The Bellagio Hotel. The kids were driving north on the strip towards the older part of the city where it was decisively less crowded. From there, the kids drove past the enormous tower of The Stratosphere Resort Casino which was fifty-thousand feet high and their journey lead them to Freedmont Street. It was apparent how run down this section was. The city was planning on renovating this section soon. From there, the collage kids drove past old Vegas icons such as The Golden Nugget and Binyon’s Horseshoe. For some reason something started to peak Jason’s interest outside of Binyon’s Horseshoe and they went in. They walked past the large lit up neon horseshoe image at the entrance and a greeter showed them around. They went past the hotel registration desk, past the many slot machines, and past the gaming tables. There was blackjack, craps, and other games played. There was a special room that some local cowboys were playing poker and they were allowed to join in. For over three hours
they played and lost most of their money and decided to pull out of the game. Danny was feeling as lucky as a leprechaun and wanted to play another hand, in anticipation of winning it all back. That proved to be a poor choice. He lost, naturally, and they could not pay up, which greatly angered the other players involved. One of the old gloomy players produced a knife. It leaped out of his hand a centimeter shy from Danny's right hand with such accuracy, or so it seemed. Startled, Danny says “Wow, how did you do that?" being too drunk to get scared. The man simply yells out “I missed." Just about that same time, another man hits Jason on the head and knocks him down. Mary and Nicole each grab a bottle of whiskey and break it over the men’s heads, in an attempt to balance out the evil deeds. To escape the locals, they make a bee line to an abandoned portion of the city. They made the decision to go into the hotel in an attempt to hide out. Nicole suggests, and they all agree, to remain overnight so they are provided shelter, however being fully aware that they are stripped bare of any amenities or essentials. They had no other choice because they are “dead broke." Mary has to go to the bathroom very badly. As she enters into a random room in the abandoned quarters, she is horrified to see a decaying body in the bathtub. Mary screams so loudly and with such emphasis that the rest of the collage kids rush into the room. They observe the decaying body, laying in dried blood and maggots feasting on it. At that point, they flee the room and go back through the deserted hotel, searching to find the entrance door, only to find it locked. Nicole suggests that they find a way out through the basement. So they enter the basement after finding it and that is when they begin to hear disturbing screams and eerie laughter. They heard the dreaded sound of the basement door slam shut and lock from the outside. What they observed next petrified them all. There were severed limbs and bodies hanging from meat hooks. As the drama begins to unfold, the door opens and two burly figures enter the basement from an adjoining room. They are aghast as the figures close in on them. They hear one of the men say “I believe you kids owe us our winnings.” They scream and plead for their lives. One of the men has two Molotov Cocktails and swings them back and forth in his hands. The other man holds a lighter in front of their freaked out faces to further taunt them. He is just shy of igniting the prepared Cocktails and pronounces with great vengeance “y’all don’t come into this town and welch on your gambling debts. If you won’t pay up now, we’ll just burn it out of your cold, pale, disgusting flesh." The victims once again proclaimed to have no money at all. The two burly men make good on their threat. The Arizona State University spring breakers endured their last moments of life observing the basement door being unlocked, the lighter and the Molotov Cocktails were thrown at them. Jason, Danny, Nicole, and Mary met an excruciatingly painful, burning, death from the burly evil men who made their final escape into oblivia from the burning hotel.

This story is scary. Has good detail. I like the ending that the people were killed by the people they owed the debt to.

This story is really good! You're a good writer, you know how to catch the reader's attention and you know how to use sentence fluency. For example, you described the settings of the horse shoe place and the chamber with all the body parts in really good detail, and i could picture the decaying body in the bathtub.
